Crochet Turkish Tea Glass

From 1,000 TL · $25

A miniature Turkish tea glass in deep tea-red, with a cream rim, a little saucer and a green leaf. A sweet touch for the kitchen shelf, and a gift for anyone who loves tea.

The story of this piece

Every home in Istanbul has a tea glass, so I wanted to make one that never breaks. Its body is a deep red with a cream rim, with a little saucer and a green leaf beneath it. It sits on a desk or a shelf and reminds you of the warmth of long evenings. It makes a lovely gift for someone who misses tea and home, and I can make it in another colour if you like.
